Royalty-free” is a type of a stock photo license that provides for the unlimited use of a photo in any media. Royalty-free images are not priced based on the number of copies produced or sold, but on a single one-time fee for license, paid to PBase Media Ltd. It also means that once you purchased an image, it's yours to use forever. All the photos on PBase.ca site are royalty-free and so do not require an individual license.
Q3 : What are Rights-Managed Images?
Rights-Managed images are images that must be licensed for a specific use. The fee for these images is calculated from several factors including size, placement, duration, and geographic location. Rights-managed images are licensed for a specific use and cannot be used for any purpose other than what is specified when licensing the image.
Q4 : Do you have any 'Rights-Managed' images?
Currently no. All KeenART Media images are Royalty-Free.
Q5 : Can I use the comping / preview images for my final artwork?
The low resolution or comping images may be used for comps and layouts. the low resolution images may not be used in any final materials distributed inside of your company or any materials distributed outside of your company or to the public.
Q6 : What are the Terms and conditions of PBase?
All PBase Media images are Royalty Free. The Royalty Free license grants you non-exclusive use of the image or CD you select for a one-time flat fee. Once you purchase an image, it is pre-cleared and ready to use in a variety of ways including advertising, brochures, packaging, websites, multimedia projects, books, and more (an unlimited time period). The Royalty Free license also allows you to alter an image and create unique works of your own. Our Royalty Free images are non-transferable.
If you are designing a project you may use the images on this site to fill-in for the high resolution versions but you may not publish these images without obtaining permission or a license.
You may not publish an image from this site without purchasing a license.
You are licensing the rights for non-exclusive use of an image and its copyright remains with PBase Media Ltd.. The right to use ordered images remains with the purchaser of the license and can not be transferred, sub-licensed or re-sold to another party.
